Celebrating 50 Years of China–Thailand Diplomatic Relations

Chengdu University (CDU) hosted a special celebration to mark the 50th Anniversary of China–Thailand Diplomatic Relations, emphasizing strong ties through cultural and educational exchange.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kullapa Soratana, Dean of the Faculty of Logistics and Digital Supply Chain, Naresuan University, was formally invited to join this meaningful event as one of the representatives of Thailand’s academic community—fostering lasting friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
June 10–12 Activities included:
- A meeting and academic exchange with Prof. Zhu Dan, Dean of the School of Tourism and Culture Industry; Ms. Yang Chunxia, Party Secretary; and Prof. Zhang Xuequan, facilitated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fu Jing, to discuss potential future collaboration
- A CDU campus tour and a visit to Wyndham Grand Chengdu, a partner hotel for student internships
- An excursion to the Chengdu Planning Exhibition Hall
- Social and networking events to strengthen interpersonal and institutional ties
The main event opened with a warm welcome from Mr. Liu Qiang, Party Secretary of Chengdu University, followed by an inspiring keynote speech by Mr. Supachai Jaismut, Assistant Minister from Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
Together, we continue to build bridges between China and Thailand through mutual respect, shared knowledge, and long-standing friendship.
