Naresuan University (NU) welcomed Mr. Grisada Phakakarn, Director of Human Resources Development Cooperation Division, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), together with Ms. Kanphitcha Kanchanakhot, TIPP Program Officer, in occasion of their visit to the university to meet with students under Thailand International Post Graduate Program: TIPP, which co-funds between TICA and NU. 7 TIPP students in academic year 2024 and 2025 from 5 Faculties — Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Business, Economics and Communications, Faculty of Logistics and Digital Supply Chain, and Faculty of Science — informed their study/thesis progress, learning environment and well-being at Naresuan University, including challenges they found, which were assisted by Thai peers. A separate advisors’ session was also arranged to discuss both the ongoing batch of TIPP students and the upcoming batch in academic year 2026. The overall picture of TIPP program, covering applications of qualified candidates, selection criteria, important timeframes, etc were also explained to all attendees.
In the afternoon, the TICA delegation spent a visit to Naresuan University Science Park to observe NU HERB Laboratory and a Medical Device Research Laboratory (MDRL). The group was also brought to Naresuan University Center for Animal Research (NUCAR), a certified GLP facility and accredited by AAALAC International, to see how the center is operated and how animals are fed and kept to meet required standards, nationally and internationally.
